The F-List Gender in Music Research Hub
The F-List Research Hub is a growing collective of feminist and interdisciplinary researchers, dedicated to evidence-led activism which aims to create an environment in which women and gender diverse people in the music industries will be able to more successfully start and sustain their music careers for longer.
Research is embedded into the foundation of The F-List as stated in our core company aims and our vision of helping women and gender diverse musicians sustain their music careers.
To this end we have formed a network of over 80 feminist researchers examining every aspect of women in music. You can search The F-List directory to see the whole network under ‘Music Researcher’. We have formed in order to bring attention to the growing body of research in this area, amplify the awareness of that research, connect with each other and collaborate. We host monthly online Research Hours sharing and discussing our work and organise an annual conference.
