Sophie Daniels

Sophie Daniels is Head of Songwriting at ICMP in London where she founded the songwriting provision in 2004. Her early career was in writing, performing, teaching and the record industry, holding marketing roles at the major labels; Sony UK and S Records (now SyCo). More recently at ICMP she launched the Masters in Songwriting and her primary teaching interests are in Creative Process and Therapeutic and Research based applications for Songwriting.

In 2018, Sophie was asked to perform her song ‘I Can Love You From Here’ at Parliament which led to a one off project as ‘Liberty’s Mother’ realising an EP recorded in Nashville and touring to perform and raise awareness and funds for Baby Loss Awareness causes during 2019.
