Embed Music Feeds in Your Listing

Want to embed your music streaming and video links directly into your Listing?

This is guidance on how to correctly add the EMBED links from the ‘copy embed code link’ of your music when creating a new Listing

Each Music Platform has a slightly different way of sharing their embed code but it’s easy when you know what to look for….you need to go to the Share/Embed button on the music you want to embed….copy the embed code then extract only the correct bit as per the instructions below… a tip to make it easier is to copy the entire embed code into a word document and extract from there so you can easily see what you are doing.

In each case you want the embed code to start with “https…. this will mean removing any code before that.

It only takes a minute when you know what you are looking for, and once you have done it your music and videos are there to make your listing stand out and look amazing! You can choose from five different music platforms – Spotify, Soundcloud, Bandcamp, Youtube and Mixcloud – but aesthetically we recommend using only one or two on your page.

Spotify

Go to your Spotify page…..press share/embed from underneath a
track….and then press Copy Embed Code. Copy from “https://open.spotify.com/ to the next “. It should look like this

“https://open.spotify.com/embed/track/6B883Q5YfLvb79uqB5g6YO?utm_source=generator”

Youtube

Go to your YouTube page and underneath the track you will see an option for Embed Code on the left hand side, copy the code from “https://www.youtube.com/ to the next “. It should look like this

“https://www.youtube.com/embed/1vWxy7VmDZc?si=x7hXLN3Z4pU4zeRm”

Bandcamp

Go to your bandcamp page…..press share/embed from underneath a track….click that and it will give you three size options, go for the middle size and copy the Embed Code. It should look like:

“https://bandcamp.com/EmbeddedPlayer/album=4249820058/size=large/bgcol=ffffff/linkcol=0687f5/tracklist=false/artwork=small/transparent=true/”

Soundcloud

Go to your soundcloud page and on a single track click share, and it will give you an embed option. Copy it into a word document so you can see all of the code and THEN remove %3A and replace it with : This is a little tricky but easy when you know what to look for – message us if you need support. It should look like

“https://w.soundcloud.com/player/?url=https%3A//api.soundcloud.com/tracks/soundcloud%253Atracks%253A2019850509&color=%23ff5500&auto_play=false&hide_related=false&show_comments=true&show_user=true&show_reposts=false&show_teaser=true”

and change it to

“https://w.soundcloud.com/player/?url=https://api.soundcloud.com/tracks/soundcloud%253Atracks%253A2019850509&color=%23ff5500&auto_play=false&hide_related=false&show_comments=true&show_user=true&show_reposts=false&show_teaser=true”
