Seraphina Simone

I sing, songwrite and produce under my solo artist project Seraphina Simone. I released my first EP Milk Teeth last year on YALA! Records, with support from Lauren Laverne on BBC 6 Music, and Jess Iszatt and Emily Pilbeam on BBC Introducing, as well as Spotify’s editorial playlists including New Music Friday. My first shows were supporting Self Esteem on her March 2022 tour, and this year have played The Great Escape, Get Together, Live at Leeds, How the Light Gets In and the Virgin new music showcase at Sound City.

As a session singer I am part of Self Esteem’s touring band, as a backing singer & dancer, and have been part of her troupe since 2020. Particular highlights include playing 3 sold-out shows at Hammersmith Apollo during the March 2023 tour,  supporting Blur at Wembley Stadium, as well as performing on Jools Holland, Graham Norton and The Late Late Show. In 2023 I was part of a choir formed for Rory Pilgrim’s Turner Prize-nominated project RAFTS, commissioned by The Serpentine, and have previously worked with Robyn as a backing singer at her two Alexandra Palace shows in 2018.

I am also part of a four-piece band called TRILLS as a singer, songwriter & producer. We release independently and have gained a number of syncs over the years, including trailers for Outlander, Suffragette and Pete’s Dragon, and in TV shows Orange is the New Black, The Morning Show and Good Trouble.
