Jemerine Chan

Jemerine Chan or affectionately nicknamed Jem is a Malaysian-born multigenre singer-songwriter/producer currently based in London. In 2024, Jemerine’s empowering single “Black Rose” awarded a silver medal on Global Asian Creative Award from the music demo category. Her debut performance of “Black Rose” at the prestigious British Kebab Award Show on release day was met with acclaim, setting the stage for a series of upcoming events, including her performances at O2 Islington, Occasions Show, Outernet and more.

From the age of 7 she had already begun singing and playing the piano. She fell in love with music composition and began writing piano pieces during primary school. Her music was much inspired by artists from the likes of @Billie Eilish, @BlackPink, and @Ariana Grande. 
 Jem views the sentimental element of music being captivating as it functions as a prime medium of conveying emotion and storytelling in a unique way. Aspiring to spread positivity through the power of music, Jem believes to bring the world together by combining various cultures and at the same time share her ideology through music.
