HASNA is an R&B solo artist. Her career started during when publishing a cover of “Le Remède” by Luidji in summer 2020 on Instagram. Since then, she has developed her sound through live performances and collaborations.

She first got discovered as a featured artist. Her collaborations include “Ready to Shine” with French singer Shirley and “Venin” with rapper CremedeParfum. After those two releases, her work was made part for the online festival and installation “BLOOD + WATER”. This work with London based art company was her first international outreach after only six months in the industry.

Her work is inspired by underground R&B, hip-hop with a clear passion for soul and jazz. As a self-taught and self-managed artist, HASNA collaborated with multiple beat makers to find her sound. The highlight of those collaborations have been with KRZ, a Paris-based beat maker working across Rap and R&B.

In early 2021, her work sparked the interest of the London brand Tlabel. The brand commissioned a video and song as part of their Valentine’s Day campaign. This work resulted in her first published release as a main vocalist and songwriter : “Gone”. That year was also one focused on creating original work to perform live, which resulted in a catalog of eight songs, three of those to be released this year.

HASNA has performed across London with her guitarist Leo Jourdan. Some highlight shows include : Heaven Session at Avalon Café, Pride of Arabia at The Yard, Living Proof at The Haggerston, Solo show at Morocco Bound Bookshop and First Son of Soil Presents at Soho House. Despite not having music on streaming platforms, she generated revenue and participated in three sold out shows.

In two years, her social media outreached went from 300 to over 2000 followers and she developed a solid base of network in the live performance scene. In the next six months, HASNA will be releasing three songs. The artist is aiming to get 5 thousand streams for the first release and see a 10% increase for every following one. To do so, she shot and designed artwork and press pictures as part of a collaboration with CSM student Arlo Hopkins. Two music videos have been shot : one in Paris with director Sophie Armery and one in London with director Leo Villares.

With a solid marketing plan, HASNA wished to build on the success of her performances to create a solid core fan base. With the understanding that consistency will be key for a sustainable career, she will be developing a new body of work from September to January. The goal is to produce a minimum of eight high-quality tracks to be released every six to eight weeks in 2023.
