Chloe Knibbs

CHLOE KNIBBS is a composer, songwriter and sound artist. Described as having an “unmistakable ring of authenticity” (Musical Opinion), she has written for opera, theatre, choir and chamber ensemble. Her work draws on the soundworlds of contemporary classical, sound art and chamber pop, combining raw and intimate lyrics with delicate strings.

Her new EP, BARGAINING is a melting pot of contemporary classical, chamber pop and sound art, BARGAINING is a reckoning with loss, memory, others and oneself. Ethereal strings shift between vulnerability and angst, setting the scene for songs that speak to self sabotage, the male gaze and bargaining with the past.
